Wildlife Conservation Symposium
Welcome to the website of the first EWDA Student Chapter Symposium in Belgium!
This symposium is the result of a wish, and a need, for our generation to bridge the gap between knowledge and action. In a world where biodiversity is constantly threatened in multiple ways, we are looking for practical solutions to slow down, or end, the tremendous decline in species. This symposium offers a platform in understanding and debating future steps in biodiversity conservation.
This symposium brings together speakers from different backgrounds (a.o. veterinarians, biologists, pathologists), working on a wide range of species… but all of them are looking for ways to translate their research into real conservation actions, or will show us the challenges that are part of the process. At the end of the day, we will use these examples to discuss the practical side of wildlife conservation and how we can enhance our conservation efforts.
The symposium welcomes everyone interested in wildlife health and conservation: students, veterinarians, nurses, biologists, and anyone else who wants to explore the future of conservation.
The symposium will take place in Liege, Belgium on 17 and 18 November 2017. Please, find the programme, the link to registration, and all other important information on this website.
